It was another beautiful, sunny day in California (haha, you’re in the cold) and we were off to an early breakfast at 7:30am. When breakfast was finished, we loaded the buses to go on an hour long bus ride to a luxuriously hot field for field show practice. After marching around in the sun for a while and a well needed water break, we were off to our next destination, Santa Monica Pier. We were blown away by the sight of the ocean and the massive beach next to it. The next 2 and a half hours were spent searching for lunch and sightseeing around the pier. We both went off with our friends and took plenty of pictures to remember this one-of-a-kind experience. To wrap up the day, we hopped back on the buses and headed back to the hotel where we could relax and hang out with friends until the band meeting and curfew. Overall, it has been an incredible day, and one that we will never forget.
